History
The Adega Camolas monovarietal range was born from a desire to explore new expressions of the Setúbal Peninsula through grape varieties less common to the region. Each wine is a discovery, a tribute to the ability of our terroir to reveal unexpected and authentic nuances.
Between the mild climate, Atlantic breezes, and soils that shift from limestone to sandy, every vineyard parcel comes to life in its own unique way. It’s this harmony between nature and savoir-faire that gives rise to wines with distinct identity, full of character and freshness.
More than a sensory experience, each bottle reflects respect for time, the vineyard, and the art of transforming singular grapes into wines that tell the story of Adega Camolas — and of the land that gives them soul.
Wine Pairing
An excellent wine to accompany delicate, smooth, or confit-style dishes. Pairs beautifully with vegetarian options such as cauliflower purée with herb butter, roasted vegetables, onion tart, caramelized tofu, or goat cheese. Also ideal with codfish pie, seared salmon, baked fish with cream and rosemary, or seafood with butter and lemon sauce. A perfect match for sushi and Asian fusion dishes such as uramaki, temaki, or hot rolls with philadelphia. It also pairs wonderfully with white meat or fish in green curry and cream sauce, and with light desserts featuring blue fruit.
Winemaker Notes
Pale straw color, bright, with slight reddish highlights typical of a Blanc de Noirs. On the nose and palate, it is expressive and engaging. Displays the variety’s characteristic creaminess, with buttery notes (cream, butterscotch) and subtle hints of blue fruit such as blueberry. Well-balanced acidity, good structure and volume, and a medium, harmonious finish.
