History
To create the brand “Camolas” the founder of the winery used as reference, its family name, one of the most charismatic in our region. The Camolas Selection brand, is the outcome from the vinification of selected grapes of our finest plots of vineyards, and results from the need to create a brand of reserve wines of superior quality, innovative and with a distinct identity, without ever renounce to the viticulture tradition of the region and extolling the characteristics and versatility of the terroirs of the Peninsula of Setúbal.
Wine Pairing
It is the ideal wine to drink with sushi, pasta and pizzas, along with shellfish (crab, prawns, etc.) and the traditional Portuguese dish, grilled sardines, which balances perfectly with the freshness of this wine.
Serving Temperature: Between 8ºC and 10ºC
Winemaker Notes
It is a shiny wine with a surprising, but attractive, orange shade. It has citrus and fresh floral notes in its aroma. In the mouth it is exceptionally fresh and acidic with a strong fruity flavour and some sweetness which makes it expressive and suitable to be drunk on its own or with light summer meals. In the end it has a structured and persistent flavour.
